Robyn’s passion for creating a society that works in collaboration with nature guides her work with multi-disciplinary experts and aims to propel Canada to a position of global leadership in natural capital management. This passion also led her to join the CMN Foundation Board.
Robyn is an award winning, sustainability consultant and workshop facilitator at IkTaar Sustainability. She combines her enterprise risk management skill set, accounting background, and sustainability expertise to create shared value for organizations and their stakeholders. She specializes in providing solutions rooted in the connection of our planetary, societal, and economic wellbeing. She lends her expertise to the Carbon Disclosure Standards Board as a member of their international technical working group. Robyn is a CPA, CA and holds a BComm. in Energy Management and frequently shares her passions by speaking and writing on topics including “Re-imagining Capitalism”, “Valuing Nature”, “Sustainability Reporting”, “Eco-centric Leadership”, and “Meaningful Stakeholder Engagement.”
Robyn's passion for building compassionate and resilient communities led her to become a founding board member of Local Investing YYC; an investment cooperative in Calgary that supports enterprises that have a triple bottom line. Robyn is honored to serve on the Trans Canada Trail board, an iconic organization that built the world’s longest recreational trail, and to be part of the World Economic Forum's Global Shaper Community. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Global Shaper’s Climate and Environment Steering Committee and was recognized as Corporate Knights top 30 under 30 among sustainability professionals across Canada in 2017.
